CNY

Chinese New Year! We dressed him in a Kung-fu set of clothes bought last year :)
We spent most of CNY unpacking though and just resting.

Moving and such

We were moving and Siyuan was down with some virus, hence the lack of updates. Still don't have internet connection at new place. So more later.

Throwing Stuff Away

We moved in early Jan to a newer apt that's about 50 square feet bigger (yes, 50 square feet! this is as telling about the space restrictions in HK as any, i guess), and also cheaper rent. We threw away another bunch of stuff in the move. One of the things that didn't make it was an old pair of Siyuan shoes that had served him well when he just started walking.

classroom birthday

Siyuan attends an English speaking play school called Wembley. At the end of every month, they would bring together all the kids having birthday that month and have a joint celebration. The kids tend take turns to stand in front of a table of food and take pics, and the older kids get to go first. Siyuan, a December baby, was the last. He had another mini-celebration with some friends of Lux, who gave him an electronic guitar. In the past two months, he's been quite possesive of it, and even we the parents can't play his guitar. He does however setting the guitar on a tune and then dancing to it. I have a couple of video clips of him dancing, though too big to upload here. Suffice to say he can dance for 30 minutes non-stop. The catch? We have to dance with him!
